Start with the problem.
Then build what solves it.

Vigoris Labs helps established companies take the hard, expensive problems in their operations and solve them with AI: properly built, measured, and with people in control.

Where the cost hides

Most companies don't need more AI. They need specific problems gone.

See it work

An agent that does the checking, and asks before it acts.

This is the kind of workflow we build: an agent works through a batch of vendor invoices, matches each one against its purchase order and receiving record, and routes the exceptions to a person with its reasoning attached. Nothing is approved without a human.

Illustrative demo. Vendors, numbers and system names are invented.

How we work

Simple, in this order.

01

Assess

We learn how the work is done today, what it costs, and what ‘fixed’ looks like in your own numbers.

02

Build in phases

Fixed-scope phases, each delivering something working in production, not a slide deck.

03

Keep people in control

What we build

  • Document intelligence that extracts, validates and files data
  • Reconciliation and exception engines across systems

01What does a bespoke build actually include?

Discovery, design, the build itself, integration with your existing systems, testing on your real data, documentation, training for your team, and a period of fixes after launch.

02How long does it take?

An assessment typically takes weeks, not months. A first production phase is usually measured in weeks to a few months depending on scope and integrations.

03How is it priced?

We start with a paid assessment so the work is scoped against real data, not guesses. Builds are then quoted as fixed-scope phases, so you know the cost of each phase before it starts. After launch, an optional retainer covers monitoring, model and API changes, and ongoing improvements. We share figures once we understand the scope.

04Why not just buy a SaaS product?

Often you should, and we'll say so. Bespoke makes sense when your process is a genuine advantage, when off-the-shelf tools force costly workarounds, or when the job spans systems no single product connects.

05Who owns the code and the data?

You do. The code, data and documentation are yours, and we hand everything over so your team or another vendor can maintain it.

06Where does our data live, and how is it secured?

We design around your requirements: your cloud, a private server, or approved vendors. Access is limited to what the system needs, and we document where every piece of data flows.

07What results should we expect?

We don't promise numbers up front. In the assessment we measure a baseline in your own terms, such as hours, error rates or cycle time, agree on the target metric together, and report against it.

How an engagement works

From problem to production.

01

Pick one workflow

Frequent, well-defined and costly to do by hand, with a clear measure of success.

02

Run it supervised

The agent drafts, a person approves, and we measure accuracy on real work.

03

More autonomy only where it's proven, with monitoring and guardrails in place.

Example problems

“Every carrier invoice needs checking against shipments.”

An agent reconciles each one and flags overcharges with the evidence attached.

“Month-end close takes the team a full week.”

Agents prepare reconciliations and variance notes for review instead of from scratch.

“Inbound requests are sorted by hand.”

An agent classifies, routes and drafts first responses across departments.

“Account reviews need hours of prep.”

01What exactly is an AI agent?

Software that carries out a defined, multi-step task: reading inputs, looking things up across systems, making a draft decision, and handing it to a person or the next step. It works within limits you set.

02What happens when an agent gets something wrong?

We design for it. Agents run with approval gates on anything that sends, spends or changes records, confidence thresholds that route uncertain cases to people, and full logs so any decision can be traced and corrected.

03How much human oversight is there?

As much as you want, and more at the start. New agents begin with a person approving every action. Autonomy is widened only where accuracy has been proven on your real work.

04Will it work with our existing systems?

Agents connect to the tools you already run (ERP, CRM, document stores, email, ticketing) through their APIs or approved connectors. Integration is scoped in the assessment.

05How long until an agent is in production?

A single, well-defined workflow typically reaches supervised production in weeks. Multi-agent systems are delivered in phases.

06How is it priced?

We start with a paid assessment so the work is scoped against real data, not guesses. Builds are then quoted as fixed-scope phases, so you know the cost of each phase before it starts. After launch, an optional retainer covers monitoring, model and API changes, and ongoing improvements. We share figures once we understand the scope.

07How is this different from an off-the-shelf AI tool?

Generic tools are built for everyone. Our agents are built around your process, data, permissions and approval rules, and they're monitored and maintained after launch.

01What does an engagement include?

A review of current workflows, tools and data; a ranked list of opportunities with effort, risk and expected value; an AI acceptable-use policy; vendor and build-versus-buy guidance; and a roadmap leadership can hold us to.

02How long does the assessment take?

Typically weeks, not months, depending on how many teams and systems are in scope.

03How is consulting priced?

The assessment is a fixed, paid engagement. For companies that want ongoing senior leadership, we offer a fractional AI executive arrangement on a monthly basis. Any build work is quoted separately as fixed-scope phases. We share figures once we understand the scope.

04What is a fractional AI executive?

A part-time AI lead who owns the roadmap, vendor and build decisions, governance and risk, and reports to leadership, without the cost and search time of a full-time hire. It can also hold the seat until you hire.

05How do you handle governance and policy?

We write a practical policy covering which tools are approved, what data can go where, and who signs off, and we set up the light-touch reviews needed to keep it current.

06Will you work with our IT team?

Yes, closely. IT owns security, access and infrastructure; we work within your standards and make sure they're comfortable with every system before it goes live.

07What results should we expect?

A clear, prioritised plan and one early win delivered. We agree up front on the measures that matter, and report against them, rather than promising numbers.

About Vigoris Labs

We started with problems we couldn't solve.

Vigoris Labs grew out of real operational problems, and the discovery that AI, applied carefully, could finally fix them.

Our story

It began inside a working business.

Before Vigoris Labs, there was a working business with the problems every operator knows: paperwork that never ended, records that didn't line up, and hours lost to work nobody should do by hand.

Christopher Taylor is closely involved in running an established automotive service business. Some of its problems had no good off-the-shelf answer. The software available didn't fit, or didn't talk to the rest of the business.

So we turned to AI, not as a buzzword, but as a way to fix those specific problems. We built tools around the business's paperwork and operations, tested them on real work, and kept only what helped.

Where the questions started: a working shop floor, and the paperwork behind it.

What we took from it

The same method works at any scale.

The lessons were simple: start with the problem, measure it, build the smallest thing that fixes it, and keep people in charge. Those are the principles we now bring to established companies, whose problems are larger and more connected but no different in kind.

“I started Vigoris Labs on one idea: problems have a purpose, and that purpose is a chance for each of us to become better. I’ve been building with AI for five years, and it lets a business build on the greatness it has already earned through years of strife and success.”

What we believe

  • Start with the problem, not the technology.
  • Be a solution, not a feature list.
  • People approve what matters.
  • You own what we build.
  • Say plainly when AI isn't the answer.

01What should we expect from the session?

A focused conversation about one real problem in your operations: what it costs, whether AI is a good fit, and the most sensible first step. You'll leave with a clearer view either way.

02Who is it for?

Leaders of established companies (operations, finance, legal, IT or the executive team) with a specific problem in mind or a mandate to figure out AI.

03How long is it, and where?

60 minutes, by video call or in person in Midland, Texas.

04Who should attend from our side?

The person who owns the problem, and ideally someone who knows the systems involved. One or two people is plenty.

05How should we prepare?

Bring one problem, a rough sense of how often it occurs and what it costs in time or money, and the systems it touches. No documents are needed.

06Is there any obligation?

None. There is no pitch. If AI isn't the right answer, we'll say so.

07Is what we share kept confidential?

Yes. Everything you share is confidential by default, and we'll sign an NDA on request.

08What happens afterwards?

You receive a one-page written summary of the problem, the options and the recommended first step. If there's a fit and you want to proceed, the usual next step is a paid assessment.

01Where do most companies start with AI?

With one high-volume, rules-heavy process (invoice matching, document intake, reconciliation or reporting) where the cost is easy to measure and a person can review the output.

02How do we know if our company is ready?

You're ready if you can name a recurring problem, the data behind it exists in a system, and someone owns the outcome. Perfect data isn't required; an assessment will show the gaps.

03Is our data secure and private?

It should be designed in from the start: approved vendors or private deployment, least-privilege access, and documentation of where data flows. We work within your IT and security standards.

04What about accuracy and errors?

AI makes mistakes, so systems should expect them. We use approval gates, confidence thresholds and logs, and measure accuracy on your real work before widening anything.

05Will AI replace our staff?

In our approach, AI takes the repetitive checking, keying and assembling, so skilled people spend their time on judgement and exceptions. People remain in control of decisions.

06What does it cost?

It depends on scope. We start with a paid assessment, then quote builds as fixed-scope phases so costs are known before work begins. The strategy session is free.

07Will we be locked in to a vendor?

We design to avoid it: you own the code and data, models can be swapped as the market changes, and everything is documented for your team.

08What does working with Vigoris look like?

Assess the problem, prioritise what's worth doing, build in phases, and keep a person in control throughout. Each phase delivers something working, and is measured against what we agreed.
